Jamie M Stukenberg

Jamie Stukenberg is a lifelong resident of northern Illinois. His goal of a drafting and engineering degree shifted in the 1990s when the onset of computer-aided drafting sparked his interest in computer graphics. He developed his skills by working with some of the earliest digital retouching computer technology. The pairing of these skills with a lifelong history of hobby photography inspired by his father provided a natural fit as he merged into digital photography. His eye for identifying the file quality needed for museum catalog print enables him to see the final goal from the viewfinder.

Jamie has been a panelist for the "Frontiers in Printmaking Conference." Normal Editions Workshop (NEW.) was founded in September of 1976 in the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University (ISU), Normal, IL. He also photographed artwork for the book "Marks from the Matrix: Normal Editions Workshop Collaborative Limited Edition Prints 1976–2006," a Bronze Medal Winner in the National Category of Fine Art Books at the 2008 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Jamie was also a part of the National Museum Publishing Seminars, it is the only program of its type in the world. It brings together the professionals who publish within museums and similar nonprofit institutions for three days of discussion related to interpreting museum collections to a diverse public in an expanding array of media. Held at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, CA.

One of his largest published projects is the Jasper Johns Catalogue Raisonné of Painting and Sculpture , a project a decade in the making. At the same time capturing images for the Jasper Johns Catalogue Raisonné of Drawings for the Menil Collection.
